The Teichos team has worked together for decades. Before Teichos, we built Ridgeline — an early leader in developing clean energy. Our projects were developed in different markets, different economic cycles, and across changing technologies. In places where alignment mattered as much as engineering.

Over time, a few things became clear: Projects only work when they make sense locally. Alignment isn’t something you fix later. And there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

That perspective is shared by a team with deep, cross-disciplinary experience, spanning development, engineering, finance, environmental strategy, utility coordination, and long-term operations.

Steve has spent his career building energy companies from the ground up. He founded Ridgeline Energy in 2000, helping establish it as one of the early independent wind developers in the U.S. before its acquisition by Veolia, where he went on to lead renewable energy efforts across North America.

Teichos builds on that foundation. Steve’s focus has always been the same: bring the right pieces together — land, infrastructure, capital, and community — and build projects that actually work over time. That perspective continues to shape how the company approaches every opportunity today.

Shuman has spent nearly five decades working across the full spectrum of energy — from conventional generation to geothermal, biomass, wind, and solar. Over that time, he’s been directly involved in the design, development, and operation of more than 8,500 MW of power generation, bringing a deep engineering perspective to how projects are built and how they perform.

His career has taken him from early roles in plant construction and commissioning at Foster Wheeler to leadership positions across multiple energy companies, including serving as CEO of Ram Power, where he led the turnaround and delivery of a major geothermal project. What defines his approach is a clear understanding of how technical, financial, and operational decisions come together, and what it takes to make projects work in the real world.

Mary Kay Kuryla has spent more than 30 years leading the financial strategy behind utility-scale renewable energy development. She has guided the financing, operations, and growth of solar and wind projects totaling more than 660 MW, with deep experience in project finance, corporate accounting, and complex renewable energy transactions.

Before joining Teichos, she led financial operations at Ridgeline Energy through a period of rapid growth and its successful acquisition by Veolia Environnement/Eolfi. Throughout her career, she has overseen debt and equity financings, project acquisitions, lender reporting, and financial diligence for some of the industry’s leading renewable energy developers and investors.

At Teichos, she oversees the company’s financial strategy and operations, helping ensure projects move from development to delivery with the financial discipline, planning, and oversight needed to support long-term growth.

Darrel has spent over 60 years working at the core of the U.S. power system — where generation, transmission, and reliability all come together. He spent 37 years at the Bonneville Power Administration, including more than a decade as Director of System Operations, overseeing one of the largest and most complex power systems in the country.

Since then, his work at Ridgeline and Teichos has focused on helping integrate new generation into the grid, particularly wind and solar, through interconnection planning and coordination with utilities and system operators across the U.S. His perspective is grounded in how the grid actually functions day to day, and what it takes to connect new energy resources in a way that’s stable, reliable, and built to last.

Jim has been developing renewable energy projects since the early days of the industry. As a founding member of Ridgeline Energy, he helped originate and advance utility-scale wind projects across the western U.S., working closely with federal and state agencies to navigate permitting, land use, and environmental review.

At Teichos, he’s continued that work with a focus on site origination and development strategy. He played a key role in initiating the company’s first coal-to-solar project, including securing federal funding to reclaim and repurpose an abandoned mine site. His experience sits at the intersection of land, policy, and development — where projects either come together, or don’t.

William brings more than 30 years of experience in financial markets, with a focus on how capital flows into complex, large-scale projects. His background includes senior roles at UBS Investment Bank, where he led fixed income e-commerce initiatives and helped drive strategic investments in market infrastructure platforms.

He later founded Phoenix Greenworks Capital, focusing on financing renewable energy and infrastructure projects. His work connects developers, investors, and institutions — helping structure projects that are not only financeable but positioned to deliver long-term value. At Teichos, he brings that perspective to how projects are capitalized, structured, and brought to market.

Chal approaches energy as a system — how it’s generated, how it moves, and how it’s used at the edge. He began his career in nuclear engineering, working on advanced reactor design and naval propulsion before expanding into distributed energy, microgrids, and grid-edge infrastructure.

Over time, his work has extended into development and real-world application. He’s founded and operated companies across energy and real estate, advised on energy asset valuation, and helped bring new technologies to market as CTO of SuperCritical Technologies. His focus is practical: understanding how systems perform in the real world, and how to make them more efficient, more localized, and better aligned with demand.

Vincent focuses on finding the right opportunities early —and knowing which ones are worth pursuing. His work centers on site origination, market analysis, and building development pipelines that can actually move forward.

Over the past 15+ years, he’s helped bring hundreds of megawatts of solar and wind projects through development, securing long-term agreements and navigating complex market dynamics. He connects the dots between land, policy, and economics — so projects are grounded in reality from the start.

Bryan works where projects are the least straightforward and often the most impactful. His focus is on previously used or constrained land, where environmental, regulatory, and community considerations all come into play.

His background spans renewable energy, conservation, environmental consulting, and land management, which shows up in how he approaches each site. He’s spent his career navigating the details — landowner relationships, permitting, site feasibility — that turn complex properties into viable, working projects.

Boyd tends to look at projects from the inside out — how they perform, how they’re built, and how systems work together once they’re operating.

With nearly 20 years across solar, wind, storage, and electrification, he’s worked with utilities, developers, and engineering teams to design and evaluate energy systems in real-world conditions. His role sits at the intersection of planning and execution — making sure what gets built is not just viable, but reliable over time.

Rajesh John brings more than 25 years of experience across the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors, combining strategic advisory expertise with hands-on business leadership. Over the course of his career, he has co-founded multiple successful ventures and led initiatives spanning growth strategy, capital raising, operational transformation, and market expansion.

He has advised technology and infrastructure companies around the world, working closely with both investors and service providers to navigate complex growth opportunities. His background includes senior roles with leading global consulting firms, including KPMG Strategy and Kearney, where he helped organizations align strategy, operations, and investment decisions to drive long-term value.

Dominique supports the evaluation and development of renewable energy opportunities across the Northeast, with a focus on solar, battery energy storage, and infrastructure projects.

Her work combines detailed site and property research with broader market and development analysis. Using GIS, mapping, environmental, real estate, and other analytical tools, she evaluates everything from site conditions and reclamation requirements to environmental constraints, utility opportunities, and local regulatory considerations.

By bringing this level of detail to the earliest stages of development, Dominique helps Teichos identify opportunities, understand potential challenges, and move viable projects forward.

Edward began his legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore as a corporate attorney after serving as law clerk to Judge Raymond Dearie at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Following his time at Cravath, he served as general counsel to two successful startups, Plainfield Direct Inc. (the business development company of Plainfield Asset Management), and Teneo Capital, LLC, a financial advisory firm with a registered broker-dealer.

Prior to earning his law degree at the University of California Berkeley, Mr. McNamara had managerial and operational roles with ERA Helicopters and The Kuskokwim Corporation, each of Anchorage Alaska. Mr. McNamara is a graduate of Harvard College.
